Husna Siddiqi, CIPP/E, is an information protection professional with over fifteen years’ experience in information security, data protection, IT risk and program management. Husna was a software engineer and a lecturer of undergraduate computer science before becoming a consultant. She currently leads Cloud Assurance in a global professional services firm. She is also an Independent Advisory Board member for the UKRI Centre for Accountable, Responsible and Transparent Artificial Intelligence (ART-AI), University of Bath. Throughout her career, whether teaching automata or writing a cryptography thesis that won her a forensics prize, Husna has tried to articulate highly technical topics into simple speak often leveraging theatre arts and story-telling skills. Husna aims to increase security and privacy awareness among diverse audiences using relatable day to day examples.
