As the Head of Global Delivery Center, Sandeep heads the initiative to setup and manage a global center delivering all the back office (business) services across 20+ companies in the Tata Motor Group including Tata Motors, Jaguar Land Rover as well as the worldwide subsidiaries of Tata Motors & JLR.

 The Tata Motors Group Global Delivery Centre is a hub and spoke GBS with the centralized operations in Pune. Started in Oct 2013, currently GDC supports business services for Purchase, HR, Finance and Sales Operations with a team size of about 2000.

 Sandeep has led multiple outsourcing and off-shoring functions over the last 23 years in US and India, both from demand as well as supply side. He has extensive experience in strategy, set-up and management of Captives, Shared Services and Outsourced centers for Product Development, Support and Business Processes.

 Prior to the current role, he managed the Rightsourcing initiative at Yahoo where he created and implemented a worldwide rightsourcing and rightshoring strategy. He also led Yahoo’s Shared Services center in Bangalore, India and Global Outsourcing function for product development and business services.

Over his career, he has successfully led offshoring/outsourcing/shared services functions at BEA, VeriSign, Symantec and Yahoo! He has also been in various roles with service providers including Practice Management, Delivery Management, Client Partner and Business Development.

Sandeep frequently speaks at several international forums and is featured in national and international media as a thought leader in the area of Shared Services and Outsourcing

 Sandeep did his Engineering and MBA from India and is a Certified Outsourcing Professional.
